Depict Production Progress Diary

12/10/2016:

Today we continued on our story board and whilst doing we developed the story more as well by adding more detail to it. We have a written everything for one page of the story board and are now continuing with the storyboard on a second page. It went well as we were able to agree on the mise-en-scene and the story that we were developing during. We now have to finish off the storyboard of our short film and scout out the location for our shoot.

13/10/2016:

Today we finished our storyboard which is good as we can now move on to other pre-production materials before filming the actual short film.We have also started doing the risk assessment, which is also important as we know what the dangers are before we go to the shooting location and also know the precautions we need.

17/10/2016:

Today we have finally finished all the necessary paperwork needed in order to finish our pre-production paper work in order to start filming our short DepicT film called Barking up the wrong tree and we will be filing it today as well and hopefully have all the footage we need in order to start editing.

19/10/2016:

Today we finish all of our necessary filming of the production of Barking up the wrong tree and manage to start to editing a little on Adobe premier. This good because we are ahead of most groups and we no longer have to worry as much to finish filming and are able to focus are attention on editing and making this short film as good as it can possible be.

2/11/2016:

Today we had loads of technical issues with the computer we were using, this meant that we had to get someone to check it out and make us not be able to edit any more than we would of like to and had to wait until the computer was fixed. the problem was that Premiere Pro wouldn't let us render or edit out short film and we didn't know why and at first we though it was a memory problem and it turns out it was an a problem with our films being in the wrong location and was almost deleted.

4/11/2016:

Today we have finished editing our short film and it took us longer than I expected. As we had problems with the editing at the end as one of the overlays decided to glitch out and made us have to fix it, which consumed more time and time was also wasted when the software didn't allow us to render or save our project and had to get help in order to be able to do those things.
